18. september ble det annonsert fire nye Forskningsråds-prosjekter til UiB. Prosjektene som får støtte er:

Oddvar M. Kaarbøe ved Institutt for global helse og samfunnsmedisin: Implementation evidence from health economics and users on preventing malaria in vulnerable children with monoclonal antibodies (HEKIMA) (12 millioner kroner)

Tehmina Mustafa  ved Institutt for global helse og samfunnsmedisin: I Advancing tuberculosis diagnosis in children and adults by developing point-of-care optical devices (12 millioner kroner)

Linda Gröning ved Det juridiske fakultet: Protecting child rights and public safety: Premises for the integration of child's best interest and crime prevention (12 millioner kroner)

Unge forskertalenter (tematisk)

Henriette Tøssebro ved Det juridiske fakultet: Exploring Contemporary Legal Challenges to the Execution of Punishment  (7,04 millioner kroner) 

FRIPRO

I tillegg kom det nylig en tildeling under FRIPRO til Inga Berre, ved Matematisk institutt:  Geothermal Energy and Lithium Co-production: Multiphysics Modelling, Experimentation and Simulation (12 millioner kroner)
